President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in London for the Supporting Syria and Region Conference after attending the European Union Parliament plenary session.

At the plenary yesterday, President Buhari
spoke about Nigeria’s problems, while also
hailing his predecessor for conceding defeat
after losing the 2015 presidential election.
The president will be in the Queen’s country for
the Region Conference in London on February

President Buhari commenced an official visit to
France and Britain on Tuesday, February 2, 2016
before stopping over at Strasbourg, France,
where he addressed a special session of the EU
Parliament.
Buhari is expected to use the privilege of his
participation in the conference, which is co-
hosted by Britain, Germany, Norway, Kuwait
and the United Nations, to solicit more global
understanding, collaboration and support for
Nigeria and other countries adversely affected
by terrorism.
